Second Player Score

Second Player Score started as a punk rock band in 2012. Over time, we evolved into a holistic arts and entertainment team that creates and produces original intellectual property across various forms of media, including music, film, novels, comic books, podcasts, video games, and more. Our mission is to provide career opportunities within the entertainment and hospitality industries to people from the autism and neurodivergent communities while helping to promote positive representation of neurodiversity in pop culture.

Our music, which includes songs from the “Glorified” Storyverse, has been used by TV stations like MLB Network, Access Hollywood, and The Golf Channel.

Our original short film “Hold My Beer” premiered to a sold-out audience at Vancouver, Washington’s historic Kiggins Theatre in January 2025.

Our head writer, Brian Tashima, has written and published an award-winning seven-volume YA sci-fi/fantasy series called Joel Suzuki, which will be featured in a future Storyverse. He’s also had nonfiction pieces published in The Writer’s Chronicle, ProductionHUB, and Spectrum Life Magazine.
